What is CNG?
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) is natural gas that is compressed at a pressure of around 200-250 bar and stored in a system (CNG mobile storage). CNG primarily consists of methane (CH4) and is an alternative energy that is more efficient, safe, clean, and environmentally friendly compared to other fuels like diesel fuel, LPG, or MFO, especially in areas where pipeline gas supply is not available.
CNG has a high calorific value and burns more completely and efficiently, resulting in lower emissions and making it more environmentally friendly compared to fuels like diesel, LPG, and coal.
CNG is lighter than air, so in the event of a leak, the gas quickly disperses into the atmosphere and does not settle on the ground. This reduces the risk of fire and explosions compared to heavier fuels like LPG.
Equipment using CNG tends to experience less wear and residue buildup because CNG burns more cleanly. This results in lower maintenance costs and longer equipment life.
CNG is relatively more economical compared to other fossil fuels like diesel or LPG, offering cost efficiency to users.
